Twins Kensie Marie and Amelia Rose, daughters of Charles and Melissa McLeod, were joyously received into Christ's Church by Holy Baptism on 20 Nov. 2011. Archpriests Alexander and Michael were assisted by the twins' grandfather, Subdeacon Charles McLeod Sr. May God grant many years to the children and their parents!

On 1 Sep. 2011 we were most pleased to welcome Archpriest Alexander Webster as our new rector. He and Matushka Kathleen are residents of Ashburn VA. Fr. Alexander brings a wealth of pastoral, academic and military experience to our parish. More information can be found at the tab labeled Meet Our Priest.

Following early morning Liturgy, we traditionally meet Sunday afternoon at a parishioner's home for Vespers, fellowship, and a joyous Pot Luck meal.

Master Iconographer and Hieromonk Mefodii gives us a tour of the Skete's Chapel and Icon Studio in Palmyra, VA. Three of our parishioners receive iconography instruction there.

Thanks be to God, our iconostasis was completed and blessed on 7 Nov. 2010! We express our sincere gratitude to to everyone who generously contributed their money, time and talents to this worthy project.

Steve and his son Philipp constructed and installed our new cross in loving memory of Steve's son and Philipp's brother, PFC Winston James Miroy, U.S. Army.

O God, save Thy people and bless Thine inheritance; grant victories to the Orthodox Christians over their adversaries and by virtue of Thy cross, preserve Thy habitation.

After Liturgy on July 25, 2010 the parish surprised Fr. Michael Sekela with a joyous commemoration of his 70th Birthday at a local restaurant. Many Years!
