On Sunday, May 27th, the feast of Holy Pentecost was joyfully celebrated in St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church in Stafford, VA. With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, before Liturgy, His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah elevated several men to the rank of reader and subdeacon: Nicholas (Mark) Sanford was tonsured Reader, while Timothy Mellor and Joseph Sirko were ordained Subdeacons.
